Age, skill and availability do not matter – we will find the perfect fit! Here are just a few of the many tasks that our volunteers assist with as we work to help families facing a housing crisis. Individual volunteers as well as group volunteers can get involved on a one-time, monthly, weekly, or even daily basis!

Pick-up donations and drop them off at the Family Center or one of our storage units.
Donated items may include large furniture items.
Help transport guest families to and from the congregations in the morning and / or evening.
Take guests to job interviews, work, or other appointments.
There is always work to be done at the Family Center or at the Fresh Start duplex.
Share your special skill to help a family in need.
Mechanics are needed to help our guests families with routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep their vehicles running. Hair Dressers are needed to help guests look professional when looking for a job.
We typically have young children ages 10 and under in our program.
There are always opportunities ranging from reading to the children, play time, or even assisting with homework.
